Myofascial Release Therapy

This technique involves applying light pressure to the restricted/tight areas of the body to eliminate pain and restore motion. For example, trauma, stress, inflammation and surgical procedures create myofascial restrictions which can produce muscle tension and pain. By gently and slowly stretching the tissue the body has time to release tension slowly and deeply. Myofascial Release Therapy can be combined with massage and other therapies and is often paired with Craniosacral Therapy.
